Look at this child! Living without a care in the world. Took my cup and threw her head back like she was relaxing at a beach or something. Give me back my wine glass! This little lady gets on my last,...LAST I say, nerves! It's all good. Just sipping on some #fancy #lemonade my husband made and chilling outside with my very active daughter, *Stone, while my son, *Clay, plays #Roblox š
*Stone is me full stopšš¾šš¾āāļø. šThere's a lot both of my children are teaching me. One thing is patience. I have yet to master that. They also help me look at everything we adults take for granted.
Show of hands šš¾šš½šš¼ššæšš»šof everyone who takes for granted the abilities to walk, talk, feed yourselves, clean yourselves... etc. Children have a way of making you slow down and pay attention to the smallest things.
Do you even remember taking your first step? I sure don't. There are people who aren't able to walk. Yet, we don't think about how amazing that is to be able to walk. Do you remember your first words? Neither do I, but I'm pretty sure they were along the lines of "Who wants to buy a bottle of milk?" or "I got diapers on sale, BOGO goo goo gah gah!!"š Yeah, entrepreneurship is embedded in me for sure. š
There are people who can no longer talk. Yet, we take for granted the ability to speak. The ability to bring a spoon to your mouth and eat is something we take for granted. Yet, here we are stuffing that juicy Fillet Mignon in our mouths with pleasureš„©š¤¤šš.
My point is: Be #THANKFUL for everything and feast on your life. I'm late but I am learning in my mid 30s that you don't have much time to dwell on all the negative things in life. Negativity is HEAVY, but every time negativity tries to weigh you down on one side start stacking up every positive thing you can think of- everything you are grateful for, all the things people take for granted, everything you already have, everything that makes you feel and know you are loved... These things will outweigh the negative.
So raise your glassesš¾š„ to all the positive things happening in your lives. "Feast on your life."
